A "barn find" Myford Super 7 lathe - not quite as grotty as it looks, much of the brown gunge is dust and oil which wipes off fairly easily, there is some surface rust which will need elbox grease and Scotchbrite.
Underneath the muck there's what looks like a decent machine, bed not battle-scarred like some veterans we get in and everything working smoothly. In addition to the basic lathe there is:
New Brook Crompton single phase motor with switchgear
New Myford three jaw chuck in box
Swivelling vertical slide
Angle plate
Centres
Changewheels
Quantity of turning tools, cut-off blades etc
This one would clean up to make a good first lathe, it's a good quality machine with some nice extras, including the optional countershaft clutch.
