A pair of powered wheelsets - in grubby condition and with surface rust to wheels and axles from storage, they were removed from a stalled project, apparently unused from new.

Tested, they run in both directions. The EMD 24 volt motors are substantially built, fan-cooled units rated at 288 watts - a little over a quarter of a horsepower - each.
