A well-advanced example of Don Young's "Lucky 7" design. Based on the two foot gauge Edaville #7, don't let the fact it's only 3 1/2 inch gauge fool you - the engine is five feet long and, when complete, a very substantial two man lift. We took one to Harrogate Show a few years back and nearly killed ourselves trying to lift it onto the stand!
Work to date is to a good standard, the silver-soldered copper boiler shows neat flanging and good solder penetration.
Complete with a set of drawings and copies of the construction articles. If you haven't seen one of these engines before, there are pictures and some video in the archive of one we had in a couple of years ago.
