A 4 inch scale 8nhp Burrell DCC road locomotive, built to the Live Steam Models design and using their castings. LSM provided gears and machined the cylinder block, CE-marked boiler is by Bell Boilers, complete with all paperwork.
We'd put this one at about 60% complete with all the expensive bits now bought - work to date comprises a rolling chassis with belly tanks fitted, cylinder block part-machined, crank machined and fitted with connecting rods, crossheads and eccentrics, weighshaft bracket fitted with guide bars. Three speed transmission with differential, winch behind nearside rear wheel.
I've owned two of these myself, in both showmans and road locomotive forms - follow the links if you want to get an idea of what the thing looks like when complete. The showmans engine looked magnificent and always attracted a lot of attention, the road engine was much the easier to drive, mainly because of easier access to the controls. This one's still at the stage where you can take your pick which version to build.
Complete with a set of drawings.
