A well-built 7 1/4 inch gauge saddle tank of freelance design although owing more than a nod to Bagnall and Kerr Stuart's narrow gauge practice.
Work to date comprises a beautifully made silver soldered copper boiler, rolling chassis complete with Stephenson's valve gear fitted, all platework and the cylinders machined and fitted. It was the builder's intention to fit balanced slide valves exhausting through the back, these have yet to be made.
Workmanship is to a high standard as with the rest of the builder's output, practical details are nice, from easily adjustable eccentric sheaves to the generous oil resevoirs on the valve spindles.
