A complete 5 & 7 1/4 inch dual gauge portable railway, configurable for either ground level or raised running. This is the one we’ve been using for the last couple of years (you may have seen our demonstrator Stafford running up and down on it at the Midlands Show last October) – it’s housed in a good trailer which was expensively overhauled two years ago with new tyres and wheel bearings. The whole lot weighs about a ton ready to roll, it tows nicely.

Track comprises eighteen panels each eight feet long – they’re all numbered and bolt together. For raised level use, there are a set of purpose-built wooden stools (for want of a better word) which the panels sit on.

Pretty much ideal if you want to take a railway round the local fetes or shows.
