A well sorted "Pride of Penrhyn", built from late ModelWorks kits, much modified to produce an engine which goes very well. Nice detailing, including a dropside trailer incorporating an auxiliary water tank.
Silver soldered copper boiler, feed by injector and mechanical pump with auxiliary hand pump in water tank. Twin cylinder, simple expansion engine, slide valves actuated by Stephenson's reversing gear with pole reverser in cab. Mechanical lubricator. Flywheel brake, two road gears.
The engine comes complete with the full set of build instructions and a box of bits including oil can, axle stand and metal tray for dropping the fire into at the end of the day. A set of footrests have been fitted well forward which makes for a comfortable riding position. The engine has two cabs - an open version which makes access for driving easy and its Sunday best version with a lid on.
