{"product_id":"2-inch-scale-allchin-agricultural-engine-stock-code-9180","title":"2 inch scale Allchin agricultural engine","description":"\u003cfont color=\"red\"\u003eWe sold this one last year alongside an equally nice \u003ca href=\"\/products\/4-inch-scale-burrell-agricultural-engine-stock-code-9615\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e4 inch scale Burrell.\u003c\/a\u003e It's spent the last six months on display - pictures and words are from last year, it remains unsteamed.\u003c\/font\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    A finely made Allchin in 2 inch scale, scaled up from the popular 1 1\/2 inch scale design.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    Finished to a high standard throughout, complete with scale tools (including a key for the toolbox padlock) and a beautifully made glazed library case.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    Unsteamed from new, this is an older engine - possibly fifty years if the \"registration number\" refers, as we believe, to the build date. Fit and finish of the motionwork and gearing is excellent, the engine turns over freely - \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=yrWaWAw5pFU\" target=\"_blank\"\u003ethere's some video of it running on air here.\u003c\/a\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    Paintwork and lining was originally executed to a high standard; there is some age-related wear and minor scratches around the rear offside tender.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    In deference to its age and condition we have made no attempt either to test the boiler or steam the engine - however the copper boiler appears well made with neatly flanged plates and good solder penetration.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    The final couple of photographs opposite show the engine, along with a \"standard\" 1 1\/2 inch scale Allchin and a diminutive 1 inch scale version which has recently come in.
