The work of  an experienced builder (we had his 3 1\/2 inch gauge LNER A8 and \u003ca href=\"\/products\/stock%20pages\/3967\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eParis-Orleans  4-8-0\u003c\/a\u003e in last year), the chassis is well-made and has been run on air.    \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eCylinders are in gunmetal, arranged in three pairs, each driving onto a  crankshaft with reduction-geared drive down to the main axle. Slide valves are  fitted, actuated by slip eccentric gear.    \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThere is a part-built copper boiler of combustion chamber, wide firebox  design which looks similar to LBSC's \"Hielan Lassie\".
