When it first arrived first arrived, having seen  neither coal nor oil in many years, a thick coating of dust and the eyesore of a  cab concealed what was, beneath, a well-made chassis - nicely fitted motion  work, crisply done machining and some nice detail touches like the gland-locking  plates.\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp align=\"left\"\u003eHaving cleaned the thing down a bit, blown off the dust and  given it a good oil round, it came to life again running on air, slowly at first  until the oil got to all its important little places, whereupon it settled into  a quiet, fast tickover.
