Test steamed when new - apparently before it was painted - the engine  is in as-new condition throughout.  \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp align=\"left\"\u003e   Commercially-built silver soldered copper boiler by John Short, 80psi working  pressure, feed by twin axle pumps. Gunmetal cylinders with slide valves actuated  by Walschaert's gear, screw reverser in the cab. Mechanical lubricator.  \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp align=\"left\"\u003e   Fit and finish of machined parts is good, it runs well on air and is finely  detailed with dummy air pump, mechanical and wick-feed lubricators.
