Built to a good standard, fit and finish of the motionwork, valve gear and platework is particularly well executed, the engine runs very nicely on air with crisp, even exhaust beats, notching up in either direction.\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    Boiler - unusually for this gauge - is in steel, of welded construction with silver soldered tubes. Beautifully made and equipped with combustion chamber and thermic syphon, it's not something we've seen anybody else do in this gauge apart from the man responsible for the \u003ca href=\"\/products\/3-12-inch-gauge-4-8-4-lady-anne-stock-code-5287\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003estreamlined 4-8-4\u003c\/a\u003e, \u003ca href=\"\/products\/7-14-inch-gauge-lucky-7-stock-code-4242\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eEdaville #7\u003c\/a\u003e and \u003ca href=\"\/products\/5-inch-gauge-4-8-2-mohawk-stock-code-5288\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eMohawk 4-8-4\u003c\/a\u003e. All similarly well built engines, with similar boiler features.
