Often seen  with the simpler slip-eccentric valve gear, this engine has Walschaert's gear  with pole reverser in the cab.    \u003cp\u003eThe engine turns over freely without tight spots. It has never been completed  - the mechanical lubricator needs a drive rod, some plumbing for the boiler  feeds is missing and the reach rod requires connecting to the weighshaft. The  boiler is silver-soldered copper construction and looks quite well made, feed is  by mechanical axle pump with bypass valve in the cab. There  is a brake stand in the cab connected to a cross-shaft beneath the footplate,  but there are no operating rods or shoes.
