Mechanical lubricator mounted very neatly inboard the offside  frames, driven from the water pump wrist pin.\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp align=\"left\"\u003eThe paintwork is generally in good condition, admittedly  slightly \"two one\" with the tanks a distinctly darker shade than the  boiler. Mechanically the engine is in fine condition - the previous owner  (builder of the superb \u003ca href=\"..\/2404\/index.htm\"\u003e14xx\u003c\/a\u003e and \u003ca href=\"..\/2403\/index.htm\"\u003eB1\u003c\/a\u003e  I currently have in) was fastidious in his preparation and disposal of the  engine and it shows, with little wear in axleboxes or motion and one of the  tightest set of boiler fittings I've tested in a long time - on hydraulic test  there was not so much as a bead of water from the blast pipe (where it usually  appears past a worn regulator) or backhead fittings.\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp align=\"left\"\u003eI'd never driven a \"William\" before, but it appears a  worthy successor to designs such as LBSC's \"Mona\" - an ideal  first-time engine with enough power to be interesting and a boiler large enough  to look after itself for a reasonable time while you're watching the road!\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp align=\"left\"\u003eLength 32 inches\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp align=\"center\"\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Station Road Steam","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":54009770770773,"sku":"2405","price":1650.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1023\/0094\/2677\/files\/2405-1.webp?v=1779899132","url":"https:\/\/stationroadsteam.com\/products\/3-12-inch-gauge-william-stock-code-2405","provider":"Station Road Steam","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
