Cast iron compound cylinder block with slide   valves actuated by Stephenson's gear, pole reverser, mechanical lubricator.   Three speed, four shaft transmission with differential, winch fitted behind   nearside rear wheel, fairleads on tender. Bonded rubber tyres to road wheels.\u003c\/p\u003e   \u003cp align=\"left\"\u003eGoes without saying that it's very large for a 3 inch scale   engine - 60 inches long and getting on for twice the weight of the ubiquitous 3   inch Burrell agricultural (the last 3 inch Fowler we had in showman's   specification scaled nearly 600 pounds).\u003c\/p\u003e   \u003cp align=\"left\"\u003eThe engine has recently been through our workshop where it's   been re-tubed, boiler has had a full cladding-off inspection with ultrasonic   survey and twice working pressure hydraulic test.
