A professionally-built engine it had been completed some  years before but only steamed once to test it, \u003ca href=\"\/products\/stock%20pages\/4034\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\"\u003ethere  are pictures of it in the archive here\u003c\/a\u003e. It has since been fitted with a  driving seat and the obligatory weighted toobox on the front axle, required on  Burrells which have a tendency to be light at the front with a driver on the  back.  \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eWelded steel boiler with welded steel tubes, fusible plug, working  pressure 100psi. Twin Ramsbottom safety valves, feed by injector and mechanical  pump.\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eCast iron cylinder with slide valve actuated by Stephenson's gear,  pole reverser on footplate.
