He'd made a start on assembling the first six kits, up to a rolling chassis stage.\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    The project has remained untouched in the last twenty years, most of the parts appear to be still in their manufacturer's packaging, as shown opposite.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    Everything we have is shown in the pictures - whilst not guaranteeing every last nut, bolt and washer it appears to be a substantially complete set of kits, missing only the pressure and water gauges and steam valves (with after market replacements readily available and, in truth, nicer looking than the original equipment supplied).\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    Despite the companies' chequered histories, the Britannias remained one of the more successful kits produced by Winson and, latterly, ModelWorks.
