There is a comfortable  ground level driving truck which doubles as a water tender for the injector  (with a two gallon tank), the double-acting axle pump picks up from the saddle tank.  The prototype engine ran on 2' 3\" gauge track, making a large model in 5  inch gauge, none of the controls could be described as fiddly.\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp align=\"left\"\u003eSilver soldered copper boiler, 80psi working pressure, twin  Salter type safety valves. Feed by axle pump and injector. There is an isolating  valve for the entire fountain which makes maintenance and boiler testing easy. Gunmetal cylinders  with slide valves actuated by Hackworth's valve gear, steam brake acting on all  driving wheels.\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp align=\"left\"\u003eThe cab roof and back panels are easily removeable for driving.\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp align=\"left\"\u003eThe paintwork is chipped in places, there are one or two minor  scrapes and dings in the saddle tank. The engine goes exceptionally well, is  easy to fire and makes steam like it's going out of fashion.
