{"product_id":"5-inch-gauge-gwr-47xx-2-8-0-stock-code-7214","title":"5 inch gauge GWR 47XX 2-8-0","description":"\u003cp align=\"left\"\u003e   A Great Western 47XX 2-8-0, Churchward's fast freight engine introduced in 1919  and built through until 1923 - a class of nine in total, none survived to  preservation.  \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp align=\"left\"\u003e   This engine is a bit of a survivor, it ran at a private railway in France around twenty  years ago, since when it's been stored in not particularly good  conditions, picking up a couple of dings to the boiler cladding, scrapes to the  paintwork and some surface rusting of the brightwork over the years. Unfortunate, as  underneath there's a nicely built example of a well-proportioned engine, one we rarely  see modelled.  \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp align=\"left\"\u003e   It runs, although requires the nearside valve rocker repinning. Silver soldered  boiler is fitted with radiant superheaters, it's been hydraulic tested at twice  working pressure - structurally sound, although will require work before it next  takes to the track in anger.
