Photographs opposite were taken in March 2025, words below written in 2019.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003c\/font\u003e    A 5 inch gauge rebuilt Royal Scot, turned out as 46109 \"Royal Engineer\".\u003cp\u003e    Built as a two cylinder engine, the standard of machining is good, chassis is well executed and nicely detailed including dummy Wakefield lubricators, working leaf springs on the driving wheels and tender and castellated nuts fitted throughout the motionwork.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    Paintwork is poor, the green has been applied over brass cladding sheets without etch primer, so has taken to falling off in large flakes.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    The engine came to us without paperwork - although the firebox and smokebox evidence past use, it hasn't been steamed for some time.
