Unusually it's finished to late specification with BR livery, double chimney and German style smoke deflectors when virtually every other A3 we see - from gauge 1 to 7 1\/4 inch - are modelled in the pre-war, LNER style \u003ca href=\"\/products\/3-12-inch-gauge-lner-pacific-hyperion-stock-code-9980\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e(we sold a super 3 1\/2 inch gauge example back in 2021 if you'd like to compare the two).\u003c\/a\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    The engine has come to us as part of a small collection of fine models as the owner - a professional model builder and restorer - downsizes in retirement. It has been fastidiously maintained and, whilst very much a working engine which has seen regular club use, remains in good condition throughout.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    Complete with club history, the boiler has had hydraulic and steam tests in recent days, with new certification issued.
