The first tender engine I ever owned was a MoK,  having fallen for one I saw running at the Romney Marsh SME track at Rolfe Lane.  The large wheels give a super, sedate exhaust beat with gave an impression of  effortlessness as the engine ran around all afternoon. Having bought one of my  own some months later, I was much impressed by the manner in which it went - it  has remained one of my favourite LBSC designs since.\u003c\/p\u003e    \u003cp align=\"left\"\u003eThis engine is the work of a professional machinist and  experienced steam man with several locomotives to his credit. The worksmanship  is excellent throughout, combined with attention to all the details which make  an engine easy to look after and live with - from the stainless steel grate and  ashpan, neatly-routed and easily accessible blowdown valve and running-board  mounted steam pump through to the fitted wooden travel crates.\u003c\/p\u003e    \u003cp align=\"left\"\u003eSilver-soldered superheated copper boiler by Chambers, 90 psi  working pressure, feed by injector and steam pump. Inside cylinders with slide  valves actuated by Joy valve gear, mechanical lubricator mounted on right hand  running board.\u003c\/p\u003e    \u003cp align=\"left\"\u003eThe engine has a large amount of paperwork with it, including  the original boilermaker's twice pressure hydraulic certificate, Southern  Federation Club hydraulic certificate, complete set of LBSC's original  construction articles from \"Model Engineer\" and photographs of the  engine in build.
