Paintwork is on the bright side of \"working clothes\", however the engine remains in fine mechanical condition and runs beautifully, with sharply defined, square exhausts - \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=bed17EygkVw\" target=\"_blank\"\u003ethere's some video of it on the rolling road here.\u003c\/a\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    Boiler is silver soldered copper, fitted with combustion chamber and four flue tube superheaters. Feed is by injector, axle and hand pumps - all work effectively, the injector is fitted with a whistle type \"pull to operate\" valve which is unusual, although certainly effective.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    Safety valves when it arrived were marginal on accumulation (which is the case for about a third of the engines that pass through the workshop, surprisingly) - they were replaced with a pair from our friends at \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.pollymodelengineering.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003ePolly Engineering\u003c\/a\u003e; high quality items which, in our view, are unbeatable for reliability.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    Chassis runs quietly and will notch up nearly to mid gear in either direction.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Station Road Steam","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":54019224043861,"sku":"9411","price":6950.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1023\/0094\/2677\/files\/9411-1.webp?v=1779903081","url":"https:\/\/stationroadsteam.com\/products\/5-inch-gauge-midland-4-4-0-stock-code-9411","provider":"Station Road Steam","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
