We last sold this one in 2018 - in pretty much ex-works condition at that time, it had been on display in the previous owner's house for many years, unsteamed \u003ca href=\"\/products\/5-inch-gauge-rebuilt-royal-scot-6103-royal-scots-fusilier-stock-code-8034\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e(you can see pictures and the original listing in the archive here).\u003c\/a\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    It's recently come back in part exchange for another three cylinder rebuilt Scot \u003ca href=\"\/products\/5-inch-gauge-royal-scot-sherwood-forester-stock-code-9362\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e\"Sherwood Forester\"\u003c\/a\u003e, that engine serendipitously ending up back at the club where it was built.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    Last time it was here we described this one thusly:\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    \u003ci\u003e  Standard of workmanship is very good throughout, fit and finish of the motionwork and valve gear is excellent, with nice detailing including castellated nuts, taper pins and turned lubricators throughout the running gear. The engine runs well in both directions on air.\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    Boiler had had a twice working pressure hydraulic shell test for thirty minutes - whilst structurally sound, there is a small bead forming at the dome flange which will require repair.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e      After selling in 2018 the new owner had the boiler tested by his club inspector with new certification issued - the steam test has since expired, hydraulic test expires in June 2022.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    Since arriving back with us we've re-tested the boiler - we still consider it structurally sound, although with the same leak at the dome flange it had when last sold.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    The engine runs on air, \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=9iTIVuuMEKI\" target=\"_blank\"\u003ethere's a clip of it in the workshop here.\u003c\/a\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Station Road Steam","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":54019793781077,"sku":"9413","price":6950.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1023\/0094\/2677\/files\/9413-1.webp?v=1779907277","url":"https:\/\/stationroadsteam.com\/products\/5-inch-gauge-royal-scot-royal-scots-fusilier-stock-code-9413","provider":"Station Road Steam","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
