Water feeds are by axle and hand pump - the No.5 injector fitted is too large both for the boiler and its steam pipe, it wants replacing with a 25oz type.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    Safety valves proved unreliable on test - one unwound when venting, the other didn't shut - so have been replaced with a pair of new, pop type valves.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    The tender leaks copiously from the soleplate seam - it needs drying out and treating with tank sealant.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    All that said, we were surprised at just how nicely this one runs, with clear, square exhaust beats.
