The original rear axle with eccentrics has been scrapped, cylinders have been apart, rehoned and fitted with new valve chest covers.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e    You can see the original listing in the Archive \u003ca href=\"\/products\/5-inch-gauge-waverley-atlantic-4-4-2-stock-code-12495\/\" _blank\u003ehere\u003c\/a\u003e with words copied below for posterity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003c\/font\u003e    A well-advanced 5 inch gauge North British Atlantic to Martin Evans' handsome \"Waverley\" design, serialised in \"Model Engineer\" magazine starting in 1986.\u003cp\u003e    The build was started in 1985 by a gentleman in Fife, work continuing until his death in 1994, with a commercial boiler supplied new by Bishop-Ellis in 1988.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    Acquired by a friend of the late builder, the engine has been in storage for the past thirty years, waiting a turn in the workshop which never arrived.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    With advancing years, the owner decided to pass the project on, in the hope that somebody will complete what has the potential to be a fine example of this large, handsome design.
