The Ramsbottom pattern safety valves have the prototypically correct (although tricky to make) brass shroud venting steam through the cab roof.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    We like the little details: the long-handled blowdown valve key making operation easy - when not in use it stows away on a pair of brackets in the cab; the guide tube for the whistle chain (similar to that fitted to the Welshpool \u0026amp; Llanfair Railway's \"\"The Earl\" and \"Countess\"); valve chests fitted with snifting valves; neatly formed and polished brass shroud around the backhead; the remote oil pots on the running boards feeding oil to axleboxes and valve spindles; the generous-size crosshead oilers with neat rotating lids to prevent grit getting in.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    The engine has been well maintained and remains in excellent condition, the LB\u0026amp;SCR style \"improved engine green\" lined livery looks very well.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    The silver soldered copper boiler has had cladding off hydraulic and steam tests in recent days with new certification issued - the engine steams very freely and runs particularly well with crisp, well-defined exhaust beats - \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=iJGO523eZNc\" target=\"_blank\"\u003ethere's some video of it here.\u003c\/a\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Station Road Steam","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":54010103923029,"sku":"10698","price":10950.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1023\/0094\/2677\/files\/10698-1.webp?v=1779900446","url":"https:\/\/stationroadsteam.com\/products\/7-14-inch-gauge-4-inch-scale-bagnall-0-4-0st-stock-code-10698","provider":"Station Road Steam","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
