The engine is the   work of a professional engineer, work to date is to an excellent standard   throughout and comprises an air-running chassis, complete with smokebox and all   plumbing and a new silver-soldered copper boiler by Western Steam. \u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp\u003eDetail work is super, I particularly liked the smokebox door locking bar,   machined from the solid and secured with turned pins at either end. Motionwork   is fitted with castellated nuts and pins, the radius rod small ends are piped up   for lubrication from an oiler carried on the expansion link as per the   prototype. Cylinders are fitted with spring-loaded relief valves in the end   covers.\u003c\/p\u003e   \u003cp\u003eThere is a box of machined parts including the steam brake cylinder which is   complete and requires fitting, buffers and a set of stainless steel superheaters   with header. There are several unmachined castings including petticoat pipe,   safety valve bonnet and grate.\u003c\/p\u003e   \u003cp\u003eWork left to do is mainly platework and plumbing. I had an almost   complete one of these back in 2005, \u003ca href=\"file:\/\/\/C:\/SRS%20website\/archive\/2427\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\"\u003epictures   in the archive\u003c\/a\u003e.
