Unusually for a narrow gauge locomotive, the boiler is equipped with a formidable looking array of four stainless steel radiant superheaters.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    Fitted with vacuum brake equipment, at working pressure it pulls 20 inches of vacuum quickly - there is a driver's brake valve and vacuum gauge in the cab.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e    Cab is well laid out and neatly piped up; twin water gauges are fitted, gauge protectors have chevron backing plates.
