Cast  iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Hackworth gear, pole reverser in  cab, mechanical lubricator.\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp dir=\"LTR\"\u003eThe motionwork is in particularly good order, with negligible wear  – I was impressed when I drove this engine at Evergreens Miniature Railway  last summer on one of my numerous \"circuit-bashing\" days out with  \"Stafford\", clocking up test miles on the prototype engine.
