This one was acquired part-built by a talented builder - we've had several of his engines in before - who completed it in 2012, it had its first club boiler test in July of that year. It was used for a couple of seasons before it came to live with us - it's been at home for the past few months before venturing down to the works last week to be given a run.

Copper silver soldered boiler by Kingswood Boilers, 90psi working pressure, feed by injector, with axle and hand pumps in tender. Gunmetal cylinders with slide valves actuated by Gab gear (so you've got to be careful about positioning the wheels when you want to reverse, just like the full-sized engine). Mechanical lubricator driven off the trailing, non-driven locomotive axle - you've got to remember this if running the engine on a rolling road.

A nicely made engine in excellent condition, it runs well.
