Twin spring type safety valves. Cast iron cylinders with piston  valves actuated by Stephenson's gear with screw reverser, mechanical lubricator.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp align=\"left\"\u003eThe  engine is complete with a pair of well-made carrying crates, seat, detachable  tender foot pegs and steam raising pipe for compressed air start. Paintwork is  functional rather than decorative (and then some...) - given how well the engine  runs, this would be a good candidate for a cosmetic overhaul over the winter, it  has the potential to make an attractive engine.
