Whilst not following the prototype in detail - for instance the model  has Bagnall Price valve gear rather than Allan straight link - it captures the  overall feel well, right down to the \"treasure chest\" driving truck.  Completed earlier this year, it has been test steamed only, it's otherwise  mechanically as-new.\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp align=\"left\"\u003eSteel boiler by Bell Boilers, CE-marked with all documentation.  80psi working pressure, feed by Cast iron cylinders with slide valves  actuated by Bagnall Price gear, pole reverser, mechanical lubricator.\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp align=\"left\"\u003eRather like the late, lamented Eric Walker's engines, the  important bits on this one are done well - cylinders are bored true, wheels  quartered accurately and valves set square, it runs well.
