Words below are from 2010, pictures were taken this morning.\u003c\/font\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp\u003eI haven't had one of these in before and was surprised at just how big the  thing was when I first saw it in the workshop. A 7 1\/4 inch gauge model of  the Talyllyn Railway's \"Tom Rolt\" 0-4-2T, the last engine on the bench  of a prolific builder (who was also responsible for the superb \u003ca href=\"\/products\/stock%20pages\/4148\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\"\u003e5  inch gauge Black 5 \"George Stephenson\"\u003c\/a\u003e currently in the workshop).\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp\u003eThis is a well-advanced build, comprising a chassis complete with brakes,  reverser, drain cocks - piston valve cylinders are in cast iron, Walschaert's  valve gear. Crisp, high quality machining, loads of nice details like spring lid  oilers throughout the motionwork, working leaf springs, immaculately piped-up  drain cocks - the longer you look at it, as with his Black 5, the more you see.\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp\u003eCommercially-built boiler was delivered earlier this year, steel with expanded steel tubes,  CE mark on backhead.\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp\u003eA straightforward build from here, which is mainly platework and fitting out,  with the potential for a very fine, powerful locomotive when completed.\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp\u003eLength 55 inches\u003cbr\u003e  Width 19 inches\u003cbr\u003e  Height 20 inches\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Station Road Steam","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":54020076077397,"sku":"7598","price":5950.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1023\/0094\/2677\/files\/7598-1.webp?v=1779910532","url":"https:\/\/stationroadsteam.com\/products\/part-built-7-14-inch-gauge-talyllyn-railway-no-7-tom-rolt-stock-code-7598","provider":"Station Road Steam","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
