Due to an unexpected opportunity to buy another large engine, this project is  now surplus to requirements.\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp\u003eWork completed to date:\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp\u003eSix wheel tender, 95% complete, assembled and running with roller-bearing  axlesboxes, dummy leaf springs, coal bars and driver's seat. Requires brake gear  and tank filler to complete\u003cbr\u003e  Main frames laser cut and assembled with buffer beams and foot well welded in.\u003cbr\u003e  Driving wheels turned from EN8, pressed onto 2 inch axles, quartering keyways  cut, flycranks machined. All painted.\u003cbr\u003e  Axle boxes in cast iron with twin roller bearings in each\u003cbr\u003e  Wire-eroded expansion links in gauge plate with bronze die nuts\u003cbr\u003e  Complete cylinder assemblies ready to bolt on complete with pistons and Clupet  rings, stainless steel ground rods, glands, valve chest and cover. Valve and  buckle to be machined.\u003cbr\u003e  New steel boiler by Gerry Dowd, fusible plug, expanded-in steel tubes, complete  with all paperwork, hydraulic test certificate and CE mark plate\u003cbr\u003e  Motion brackets cast in spheroidal iron, machined.\u003cbr\u003e  Ground stainless steel valve spindles, machined cast iron guides\u003cbr\u003e  Pair of crossheads machined.\u003cbr\u003e  Set of drawings\u003cbr\u003e  \u003cbr\u003e  The work completed to date is to an excellent standard and would give a flying  start to complete this large locomotive.
