However, having worked my way  through the box of bits, it became apparent that the builder knew what he was  doing, the machining and fitting is to a high standard. Getting rather inspired  one evening I set to and cleaned up the parts and spent the next day  reassembling what there was, which turned out to be a nicely built \"Maid of Kent\" chassis in outside cylinder form.\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp align=\"left\"\u003eWork to date comprises:\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp align=\"left\"\u003eRolling chassis, cast iron horns, gunmetal axleboxes, wheels  quartered and dowelled\u003cbr\u003e  Cylinders machined and fitted with guide bars, valve chests and steam tee\u003cbr\u003e  Smokebox, door and saddle\u003cbr\u003e  Stephenson's valve gear complete to weighshaft level, there is a complete screw  reverser and stand included\u003cbr\u003e  Connecting and coupling rods\u003cbr\u003e  Tender chassis with brake stand\u003cbr\u003e  Left hand running board in brass\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp align=\"left\"\u003eThe whole thing is very well made - the wheels are accurately  quartered, rods well-fitted and the whole thing turns over smoothly, requiring  only minor work to run on air.\u003c\/p\u003e  \u003cp align=\"left\"\u003eA very tatty set of drawings is included, drawings and castings  are still available from Reeves.
