Like waiting for a bus, we’d never had one of these super-powerful twin bogie battery-electric jobs before one turned up that I sold a couple of months ago – whereupon another pops up.

Given that it was only a couple of months ago I wrote something about one of these, I’ll say it again here, save you the trouble of popping over to the archive.

A “Hercules” by Ride on Railways, their twin bogie, four motor battery electric locomotives designed to pull houses down. Assembled from a kit, it’s been well put together and nicely painted. It’s complete with 4QD controller with remote control - the locomotive will require a pair of 063/085 car batteries.

Complete with an aerosol of the blue paint.
