If Stuart were to offer their powerful 5a as a ready-to-run engine (which they don't), this is what I would expect it to be like. Superbly built example of this popular engine fitted with Stephenson's reversing gear, drain cocks, water pump and displacement lubricator. Beautifully painted in standard Stuart colours, the engine is in as-new condition, ready to drop straight in your steam boat!

Unmachined castings for this engine are still available from Stuart at just over £700 for the engine with optional pump and reversing gear.
