An interesting scratch-built twin cylinder hot air engine, the power cylinders
working transversely in boxer configuration, driving an auxiliary shaft by
bevel and skew gearing which in turn operates the displacer pistons via
overhung cranks with ballrace big ends.
The crankshaft turns freely, however the displacer pistons are tight and
require adjustment to the skew gearing to engage with the main crank.
