2 inch scale Clayton steam wagon

A 2 inch scale Clayton steam wagon with articulated trailer - dismantled, it appears to have stalled partway through restoration.

The engine runs - better in forwards than reverse - and the boiler, complete with old club paperwork, has had a hydraulic test with new certification issued, the only advisories being several minute beads of water forming at tube ends and foundation ring which would take up under steam.

Fitted with a speed reduction countershaft - a popular modification for this design, considerably improving its load-hauling capability. It would be even better had the sprocket been fitted in line with its counterpart on the engine crankshaft - it needs the countershaft bearings moving slightly to correct.
