3/4 inch scale Mercer agricultural engine

A 3/4 inch scale Type 2 agricultural engine by D.R.Mercer - paintwork a little worn in places, although the engine appears unsteamed from new, the spirit burner wicks have never been lit. We've had several of these over the years, nicely engineered small engines, a step up from the simpler Mamod and Wilesco ranges.

Spirit fired boiler, two wick burner. Single cylinder with slide valve actuated by Stephenson's gear, pole reverser. Displacement lubricator.
