5 inch gauge kit build LNER A3

A 5 inch gauge LNER A3, being built up from a ModelWorks kit until the company ceased trading at kit 14, leaving the builder with a well-assembled, running chassis, largely complete tender and CE-marked silver soldered copper boiler with smokebox. The engine is three cylinder, with Gresley-Holcroft valve gear as per the prototype.

The missing kits include boiler cladding and cab, running boards and boiler fittings.
