A part-built 5 inch gauge "Simplex" comprising a rolling chassis which turns over freely, set of machined cylinder assemblies, complete with guide bars, crossheads and connecting rods, a quantity of valve gear including expansion links, radius rods and reversing stand, finished axle pump with eccentric and rod, various machined parts and castings including buffers, part-machined safety valve bodies, chimney, dome, smokebox door and assorted other odds and ends. Boiler is in copper, silver-soldered.
Complete with drawings and a tatty copy of Evans' book on building the engine.
