An early stage 7 1/4 inch gauge Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway "Pug" 0-4-0ST.
Work to date is to a good standard and comprises rolling chassis with machined cylinders and valve chests fitted. Valve and pump eccentric sheaves are machined and fitted to the axle, there are castings for the straps.
We don't often see these in 7 1/4 inch gauge - never had a complete one in (and have only had a handful of the 5 inch gauge versions, which always seems to sell in about five minutes!)
Plenty of work to do to complete, however the chassis could be got up to an air-running state with little expenditure other than a small quantity of stock material and some hours in the shed.
