7 1/4 inch gauge "Romulus" 0-4-0T with tender

In one of those virtuous circles, this "Romulus came in recently so that it's owner could buy another man's Tinkerbell - in turn that man wanted the money to buy a new Feldbahn-FC7 (sensible chap), so everybody's happy.

We're quite taken with this engine. Nice colour - touch of the North "Staffordshire's about it - and it runs well, there's a clip of it here.

Silvered soldered copper boiler by Bishop-Ellis, 80psi working pressure, twin Ramsbottom type safety valves, feed by twin injectors. Cab is nicely fitted out, twin water gauges with protectors, steam chest pressure gauge, vacuum brake gauge and driver's brake valve, parallel action sliding firehole doors.

The bogie tender has a water tank fitted in the rear.
