The dismantled remains of a 1 1/2 inch scale Burrell SCC agricultural engine. Rather a rare model, drawings and castings were available for these in the 1950s - possibly because of the complexity of compounding, very few seem to have been made.
We had one part-built engine some years ago -

There was a small batch produced commercially at around the same time -
we had one back in 2006, which shows you what the finished engine looks like.
