2 inch scale Durham & North Yorkshire parts & boiler

Parts, castings and boiler for a 2 inch scale Durham & North Yorkshire agricultural engine to the John Haining design, serialised in "Model Engineer" magazine.

Comprises:

• Machined front and rear wheel rims
• Front axle
• Machined crankshaft and flywheel
• Machined cylinder assembly, including block, front and rear covers, piston and piston rod, valve chest and cover
• Smokebox with front ring, smokebox door, chimney and base casting
• Set of spur and differential gears
• Silver soldered copper boiler by Blackgates Engineering
• Miscellaneous unmachined castings including steering and brake wheels, axle boxes etc
• Drawings

The design builds up into a handsome, robustly proportioned engine - for those unfamiliar with the engine, there are pictures of several in the archive, including this one which we sold last year.
