Stuart 10V with reversing gear and boiler

A marine steam plant comprising a Stuart 10V slide valve engine, 3/4 x 3/4 bore and stroke with Stephenson's reversing gear, connected to a water-tube boiler with Stuart pressure gauge, blow-down water gauge and regulator valve. The engine is fitted with a displacement lubricator.

The boiler is in sound condition, we have hydraulically and steam tested it for a working pressure of 60 psi.

The engine is in fair condition, stiff to turn but complete and with no damaged castings. It needs stripping and sympathetic fettling to make this into a rather nice little plant ready to drop into a boat.
