1 inch scale traction engine for restoration

An old 1 inch scale two speed agricultural engine, it appears to be a stalled restoration project rather than part-built. Some new parts have been made to a good standard and fitted - others are not so special (don't look at the tender...).

The design has lots of nice prototypical detail - the gear selectors and balanced crank are elegantly proportioned - the pump rod tucked in behind the low-speed pinion, with selector arm over the top has more than a touch of Aveling & Porter about it.
