5 inch gauge Nigel Gresley

An exceptionally well-built North Eastern 2-8-0 to Martin Evans' "Nigel Gresley" design, at an early stage of construction and complete with copies of the construction articles and a set of drawings. Chassis features split gunmetal axleboxes, wheels have been quartered, cylinders part machined and are complete with slide valve, valve chest and cover castings - there is a set of piston rings to suit.

Comes complete with a custom-built rolling road.
